Ensemble Suspirium goes to Latin America! In this programme we bring extremely groovy and rhythmic songs from the Jesuit missions. This is music based on Italian baroque, but strongly influenced by indigenous South American tribes from different regions. Complemented by numerous percussion instruments, this programme invites the listener into the exciting world of Latin American Baroque music. From love songs and drinking songs to devotions and religious processions, but never without dancing!

Our programme includes music from Spain, Bolivia and Peru.
